I love the entertainment industry. I am glad to have been a part of it in my past and looking forward to giving my prospective insight for the future. I will probably be as controversial as most, but I tend to always compromise for the sake of fair.

Senator Ted Kennedy Is Dead...Goodbye To An Era!

I sadly must report  that Ted Kennedy aged 77 has passed away on Tuesday August 25th, 2009 in his home in Hyannis Port, Mass. Senator Ten Kennedy died shortly before midnight only an hour and 38 minutes ago. Senator Kennedy has been battling brain cancer for over a year now. While I am not a political reporter, his sad passing marks an end to an influential American family. While Ted Kennedy's life has been shrouded in controversy, his work and compassion will not be forgotten. The World As I Der See It! sends its condolences to the Kennedy family and a heartfelt acknowledgement of your great spirit!

Paula Abdul Will Not Be Returning to Idol, She says!

While I am not a fan of Fox's Idol, (Yes you heard me correctly)I am deeply saddened to learn that Ms. Paula Abdul will most likely not be returning next season. There has been rumor back and forth from all camps, some say yes she will, some say no. On her twitter page she clearly states no deal has been struck for next season Idol. I am quite sure that she is being pushed out by Simon Cowell. I have never found Simon to be amusing or even remotely knowledgeable of his musical judging talent abilities

Meaghan's "Last Tears" Journey from Adversity to Compassion with Music.

Life is an amazing journey you never know which road your going to take on each tedious day. Sometimes when your riding the backroads of life you come upon an amazing view, the beauty in its simplicity, the preciousness of its message. Its not that you are down or out, but life surely handed you your hat. It is in these moments that you can truly slow down and see the beauty in the little things in world, the moments. I was very lucky to have one of these "moments" when a wonderful selfless woman came into my view. I was on Twitter like anyone, the countless millions perusing around, meandering, much to do about nothings and then I learned of Spirit Jump. This amazing non-profit organization helps cancer victims by "jumping" their spirits. The jumpers, (I am one!) send tweets, letters, gifts, or presents to someone in their times of trials and suffering. I'm sure all of us have felt alone at one time at another in the face of pure adversity. I cannot imagine how lonely and scary it must be for person with cancer to walk alone on the "backroads". I am not a cancer survivor, however, my mother lost her mother to breast cancer when she was only 17. So many others out there are alone..and I met a very special person who wants to change this one moment at a time. This woman I am speaking of is none other than the founder of Spirit Jump, Meaghan Edelstein
