I was invited by the wonderful publicists for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame to attend the induction ceremony. I was only able to secure one press pass as it will be flooded with media. Sadly Pennie Layne and Tanya Anselmo will not be able to assist me. I will have to take all the pictures and report all by my lonesome. I was one of the very few who received a spot.

Thank the gods at Apple for the Iphone and the developer of Shazam. The Baron would not make it without the Shazam application and his Iphone! Last night on a late night rendezvous with turkey sandwich (light mayo, 86 the tomatoes) at Wawa, I fell in love with a new song! Searching high and low for Raisinets I found the Noisettes!

The conference call to Fox was quite laid back and very professional, from us media to the eliminated artists themselves. The tone was set and it was a happy and professional environment. All the media behaved in such a manner tantamount to a mother sternly reminding their child not to run amuck though the mall; the eliminated Idols were NOT crying in their beers. Strangely and sadly I was missing the colorful personality displayed last week by one Mr. Tyler Grady

Artwork courtesy of www.ainow.org.Today I had the opportunity to attend a live teleconference with the first round of eliminated contestants on American Idol. The first round cut included Tyler Grady, Jose Munoz, Ashley Rodriguez, and Janell Wheeler. I must say there was a wide range of personalities in the group. Janell was humble and positive, Ashley Rodriguez seemed in shell shock but professional, Jose Munoz was aphetic, and Tyler combative and sticking to his guns. I expected the standard responses and answers until enter Tyler Grady which we will cover in a moment. Overall, I enjoyed hearing their stories and Idol adventures. I think all of the group will be taking away a memory to last forever with their experiences and I wish them all the best in all their future endeavors.

Tonight I came into the wonderment of discovering a new song. The Baron LOVES new songs which move him. The best present you can give me is a new song to fall in love with. The song title I came across tonight was written by Kara D and David Archuleta, and titled, " To Be With You." I decided to feature a post and personal take on this song tomorrow with a neat follow up to my interview with him. However, I need your help David Archuleta fans! Free Ipods/MP3's to those less fortunate.Today I've decided to launch Operation Ipods to provide MP3 players and Ipods to those who are needy, or face personal financial circumstances. My conception of Operation Ipods will provide free Ipods, or MP3 players to those with special circumstances. Most of us are blessed and take the luxury of music for granted, others do not have such fortune. As the Baron of Music it is my job to find the means to provide such individuals the gift of music. We have all been down and out in our lives before, and I have been myself before. I think we all can reflect back to a moment in our lives when we had nothing. I know in my most difficult times I always turn to music to sooth my weary soul. I was hoping to compete in a Pepsi refresh grant and I have not given up my hope. For now instead of the grand scale in launching www.operationipods.com, I can at least help on a small level. I cannot do this without you. I need you to spread the word to those in need, and I also need you to donate even if it is a dollar. If you cannot donate just merely tweet about it or let others know. If you know someone who has personal need please refer them to my site. Even if they do not have a computer they can still apply via mail. I will also put their top 20 favorite songs on the Ipod free of charge. My goal this month is to raise 1000 dollars, and help 10 individuals. This project can have global impact, so I am reaching out to my readers, across the globe. Let's make this happen. Today is Valentine's Day and I would like each and everyone one of you to be my Valentine this year! I don't know if I can get you all chocolates and roses, but its the thought that counts...SO they say! I am sure you are already saying give me my freaking chocolate already. I know myself, Tanya Anselmo, and Darlene Blair want each and everyone of you to find joy and love during this card and floral company manufactured holiday. The first one everyone heard about, his use of the N word during an interview for Playboy. The second is even juicier!
