Imogen Heap's Quest for a Cellist and Tour Dates

Imogen Heap is now currently touring in the USA. I am so excited to hopefully interview her and see Ms. Heap December 1, 2009 in Philadelphia. If you have not already purchased tickets you can do so here. Hang tight as I am still waiting to hear from Ms. Heap's publicist at Sony if I will be issued press credentials to interview Imogen. You will be the first to know! Please click here for the the remaining tour dates while she is in the United States.

What I found to be quite interesting is Immy is searching for a Cello player and auditioning them live on her Vokle TV station. She is looking for a cellist in every single US city she tours. You can download "Aha!" and learn more here. If you are not a cello player you still can watch and interact live by clicking the link...http://www.imogenheap.tv/. The next audition date is: November 16th, 2009 9 PM EST.

I was curious and asked Imogen Heap why she was auditioning people to play "Aha!" Was her original player ill? Was there a falling out before the tour? I know that Immy is extremely fan interactive, but a new band mate for a day? Imogen has changed music in every facet and utilizes her fan base like no other artist in the world. I really think she has found the winning formula to sell records in these financially strained times. I can only look up to her genius in music with respect and admiration. Follow this blog post as I will get on as much as I can and post a recap if you missed the show! Please follow Immy on twitter by clicking her tweet.

So I asked Immy and here is what she had to say...
